17~ Do you think young people can fall in love and it be true?
I definitely believe that young people can fall in love and it be the real deal. It does come with its’ challenges. I know, in quite a few cases, parents tell their young ones, “What do you know about love?” Or to not get too serious with anyone too soon because there are plenty of fish in the sea.
I’m not saying there aren’t any cases where parents aren’t right. But if there is a situation where your child is determined to be with that person whether you approve or not…if it is not for them, you may have to show tough love and let the person find out on their own…
Yet, in a few scenarios, there are relationships that stand the test of time. I know two people I went to high school with; they started dating in high school, got married and have been together ever since. That is definitely a beautiful thing. But it takes patience, maturity, realistic expectations, faith, will power and conviction. It can work but only if both parties are dedicated and devoted.
