All Shook Up
I didn't think I would be back with another blog so soon, but I'm pretty shaken up right now.
I went to go pick someone up from work; I return not even ten or fifteen minutes later and I hear a lot of screaming and yelling going on.
Come to find out that someone broke into my neighbor's apartment, who lives right below me, while she was gone to pick up her boyfriend/husband and stole her money.
It isn't just the fact that the thief stole her money; it's the fact that he didn't take anything else..as if he had scouted the joint out and knew exactly where to go. If he didn't, he could have easily tried to go for some of the other valuables.
I'm glad that no one was hurt and that nothing else ended up missing but it does make me weary if someone has not only been watching their patterns but other patterns as well...maybe even my comings and goings.
In all the time I've lived at this spot, I've never had to deal with a break in happening to me or anyone who has lived here. At my old job, I used to work all types of crazy hours, so there are times when I would not get to the apartment until 3:30 in the morning...and never had to worry about any of this madness.
So my guard is doubly up now, especially since I know my spidey senses about some of the company that just moved in were on point. I'm not saying the person who moved in is bad but the suspected break in artist has kept company with this person...so it's just a bad omen all around.
I'm going to try and calm down now.
Peace.

The thing that frustrates me most about thieves and criminals is that if they took the same efforts to do something positive, then they'd probably do it well too.
For all of us who strive to live our lives right, there is someone out there that chooses to take from us rather than to even try to do for themselves.
one thing i hate is for someone to make me feel unsafe...security is a must wherever i live i dont blame you for being uneasy.
