Space is Deafening....

It's been a while since I've had the apartment to myself.  Lately, I've been feeling like I've needed the space, like I've been suffocated.  Plus, since there had been a tiny bit of tension with SOS and myself, this space seemed to come right on time.

There were hints to how bad Hurricane Sandy was going to be, but I don't think people really believed that it was going to be as bad as it turned out.  I consider myself to be very lucky, for the lights didn't go out and there wasn't a lot of flooding in the area I was in.  There was a lot of debris and branches knocked down, but it was nothing like the other areas which were affected.

The space has turned out longer than anticipated.

NY Subway 

Both the NY subway system and the NJ Transit system has given no definite dates as to when they will reopen.  So, SOS is stuck out in NY for the time being.

Even if he's able to catch the bus to get to NY Penn Station, there's still no way for him to get to NJ.

The first couple of days was nice to have that alone time.  But when the winds started getting stronger and the lights were flickering, I wished SOS would have been beside me.  I miss SOS a great deal and will just pray for the day he will be able to return.
