Day 14: The Day I Hate To See Coming
Well, I couldn't decide on one central day, but there are a lot of days I hate to see coming:
I hate to see the day when
my Grandma dies.
I hate to see the day when
we truly run out of our natural resources.
I hate to see the day when
technology just stops and everything just stops functioning. I think people have forgotten what we did
when technology wasn't available.
I hate to see the day when
the government is successful in dictating what women can do with their bodies—from
abortions to birth control.
I hate to see the day when
people’s hearts no longer feel anything when people are murdered, particularly children,
when it becomes deemed, “People die every day.”
I hate to see the day when
resources for entrepreneurs run dry and their dreams become shattered because
they didn't get the support they needed.
I hate to see the day when
I lose the desire to keep on fighting and keep on trying, no matter how many
times I've been knocked down.
And I really hate to see
the day when I can no longer write anymore, not an instance where I had an
extended writer’s block but the day when I just cannot write at all.
That would be a dark day,
indeed.
Day 14, shortly wrapped!
Peace.

I totally agree with you on all this. Technology stopping is such an eerie thought.
