Day 29: What I Was Doing Today
I didn't have either job (for once), so I figured I would squeeze in a workout.
I got up around 6:30 and made my way to the gym at about 7:00. I was originally planning to do a full workout, but I was still feeling a little tired (like I hadn't rested enough), plus it seemed as if my tummy was talking, so it was around 8:20 that I decided to leave the gym.
I remembered to pick up some cat litter for Ma Maow the cat (shown above), and I also picked up some more items at Shop Rite. I asked the Sweetie if he was up for grabbing some breakfast; he told me he was, so I stopped by the apartment, so he could put the Shop Rite stuff in the house.
Then, he and I went to the diner. I was craving a waffle with bananas on it, so I got that. I took my first dosage of medication. After breakfast, he had to make a pit stop at the bank, and then it was back to the apartment.
I started to feel a bit tired at around 11-ish or so. I decided to take a nap. The Sweetie and I fell asleep while trying to catch up on Monday Night Raw. I woke up and decided to catch up on Braxton Family Values and Preachers Daughters. I think I finished up the latest episode of Divorce Court as well.
Then, I decided to check out Netflix. There was this movie, which caught my attention. The title was called Keep the Lights On. That relationship between those two guys was quite a roller coaster.
Then, I checked out this documentary called This Is What Love In Action Looks Like, which is about this organization who is dedicated to turning gay people straight and what happened to them once people started protesting. It isn't that the topic didn't hold my interest. I think it was the way it was filmed.
At that point, I decided it was about time for me to get me something to eat. I decided to fix myself a veggie quesadilla. Since I knew I wasn't going to eat anymore for the night, I decided to take my second round of medicine.
I picked up from where I left off with Love Is Overdue and got so caught up in it I lost focus of the documentary. I ended up finishing the novel just before I started getting tired.
Unfortunately, my eyes weren't quite ready to go to sleep, so I checked out this documentary called 30 for 30: Broke. Normally, I don't check out the ESPN documentaries, but this one intrigued me because it talked about famous NBA and NFL players that went broke. I got halfway through it before I went off to sleep. It didn't help that the 2nd job had me scheduled to work at six in the morning instead of seven in the morning like I'm used to.
Day 29, that's a wrap!
