References: Medical Diagnosis (agitated) | You Don't Know Jack..or Jill
Hello, everyone.
I thought I would do a personal check in.
I am realizing that on here, this is my
500th published post.
Who
knew I’d have so much to say? (lol)
Anyway, last time I wrote anything medical, I was
experiencing a bit of agitation with my current doctor. He told me to come in before I ran out of one
of my medicines because he was contemplating adjusting it. I would have come in sooner, but the Sweetie
told them to refill it before realizing he wasn’t supposed to.
It was all right because it did place me at about the six
week mark.
He’s still baffled at the morning numbers being consistently
higher. He has been looking at my food
logs, so he can see if anything I’m eating is causing it. Although he is still fussing that I’m not
eating a substantial amount of snacks daily to substitute when I can’t always
have a full meal, my numbers are in range, even with my morning number being
high.
He should be lucky I am having time to eat at all. It’s tough working two jobs, carving time to
dedicate to exercising, and making myself eat, since I don’t constantly feel
hunger or the need to eat. Especially
when I’m deep into my writing zone, I’m so in the thick of it, I won’t even
realize it’s been hours.
Now, drinking is another thing entirely. I will grab something to drink quicker than I
will something to eat.
He arranged for me to get some more lab work done, which
should take place at the end of next month.
I did get some good news.
He has decided to try me on a lower dosage of my medication to see how I
function. If I do well, he will keep me
on this amount instead of the higher one I’ve been on since I was first
diagnosed.
We will see what happens next.
Peace.
