Word 29- Car
Overall,
it’s beneficial to have a car. I still
remember what it was like when I didn't have one. Some people don’t know how good they have it. Now, kids think as soon as they turn a
certain age, they are entitled to have a car.
I didn't really have it like that, and I didn't get the opportunity
until later in life. I like driving, but
it’s dealing with the other people on the road that’s the problem. Plus, there’s cost and maintenance, which can
get a bit pricey. The only free
transportation is your feet.

I'm almost too embarrassed to say that in the last twenty years, I've only driven two cars.
People are forever saying I'm cheap and I should get a new one; however, I always point out that there is nothing wrong with it....it's still taking me from point A to point B.
Okay.........maybe next summer, but I really don't want to give my ride up.
I didn't get that rite of passage...due to my sleeping disorder (Not even diagnosed by my 16th birthday; just my mom's intuition that I shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car) I never got a license...therefore no car.
